This is the stop for cheese connoisseurs, offering an array of mouthwatering, all-natural, artisanal varieties. They’re brought to you by Brent the Cheese Guy, who wants to be your personal cheese monger. They’re all kosher, vegetarian and gluten free (except for the Craft Beer Cheddar). Most of the varieties are made from the milk of livestock on small farms in upstate NY and southern Vermont, where the animals graze in local pastures. Some of these include artisan raw milk cheddars and a locally made, melt in your mouth brie.
A notable exception is his Pecorino Romano, crafted on a small dairy farm in Italy and then aged more than 18 months in Brent’s cheese cave in Yonkers. Brent calls it “the best of the best cheeses.” Stop by the table and sample a sliver. Then try a few of the other cheeses to determine which are your favorites.
